Ah, Sandra, you rarely disappoint. Mean Streak is one I've recommended often, and lost my copy in the process. The story is action filled but meandering enough to ward off that Jason Statham movie vibe which I appreciated greatly. Brown weaves a back story in a way that keeps the reader on their toes but not confused and when it all comes together on its way to a satisfying end, you remember why you read her books.
